Dundee's Wildlife & Crocodile Park

Visit DUNDEE’S WILDLIFE PARK for ‘something a little different’

Dundee’s is renowned as an interactive ‘HANDS ON’ wildlife experience.  Dundee’s provides you with the unique opportunity to HOLD a CROCODILE, PYTHON and our  BLACK COCKATOOS as part of the 2:00pm SHOW, which is held on Weekends, Public Holidays & every day during the S.A. School Holidays.

DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERA – PROVE TO YOUR FRIENDS JUST HOW BRAVE YOU ARE!!!

Guided tours, which include animal handling, are run by appointment for groups of 15+ people, and educational work sheets are provided for school groups upon request.

The park is situated on 4 acres of land and is home to a large range of Australian wildlife, including birds, reptiles and mammals, & we are very pleased to announce the recent addition of KOALAS to our collection.

CUDDLE A KOALA, koala handling is now available to the first 10 people to book at $5.00 per person on our special handling days.  Unfortunately as the koalas are very sensitive creatures, handling is not available every day or on days over 32 degrees. (contact the park for full details).

Dundee’s Wildlife Park is only 1 hours drive from Adelaide, just off the freeway at Murray Bridge, and is open from 10am-5pm every day of the year, except Good Friday & Christmas Day.

At Dundee's we also proudly host South Australia’s largest collection of saltwater and freshwater crocodiles, housed indoors amongst picturesque tropical surroundings.  The large waterfall that runs through the enclosure flows into the crocodiles’ home pond, which is directly at your feet when strolling across the boardwalk.

To witness the CROCODILE FEEDING, be part of the 2:00pm Show on the weekends during the warmer months.

The undercover area is also home to numerous reptiles, many of which are handled on guided tours.

The REPTILE ROOM boasts a range of Pythons, from a 50cm Stimpsons Python to an impressive 5.5m, and growing, Amethystine Python.  There is a Lace Monitor, and numerous other species of Lizards to see.

While in the undercover area, you have the rare chance to view the NOCTURNAL HOUSE. Residents include Potoroos, Bettongs, Owls, a Wombat, Fruit Bats, and more. These animals are rarely seen in the wild as they retreat to the protection of their nest during the day, hiding from all attention.

The two species of BLACK COCKATOO are a feature of the 2:00pm Show, performing some cute tricks to show off to you.  These beautiful, hand raised birds will astound you with their friendliness and character, and how gentle they are for their size.
